Lynch Lake
Lynch Lake is a recreational fishing lake located just south of Finley. It has a fishing dock and is filled with both perch and pike. There is also a hunting shack available for hunters.

 
 

Golden Lake
Golden Lake is located in northern Steele County, just 45 minutes from Grand Forks.  It is home to a seasonal resort and campground offering a public beach, playground, boat launch, convenience store, restaurant and entertainment. Golden Lake is stocked with pike, walleye and perch. The campground offers RV spaces with electricity and sewer, along with space for tents. There are access points on both the east and west sides of the lake, and it is a very popular destination for vacationers throughout a 100-mile radius.

Ashtabula II Wind Farm (Luverne Wind Farm)
This newly constructed wind farm is located in southern Steele and Griggs counties. It contains 113 wind turbines and can produce a maximum of 169.5 MW of energy. The Luverne Wind Farm is split into two portions: the 49.5 MW North Field, and the 120 MW South Field. Construction commenced on both wind farms in the summer of 2009. It was the first locally-owned wind farm, and shows what a community can accomplish when the drive for success is strong.
 

 

Steele County Museum
The Steele County Museum consists of a historical museum, archives, and a cultural center representing the early 1900s. It is located on one block in the center of Hope and is open throughout the summer. It offers guided tours, assistance with historical research, weaving demonstrations and workshops, period style shows, and space for meetings and luncheons. The Steele County Historical Society is constantly expanding the collections featured in the Steele County Museum, and has recently made improvements to and renovated some of the structures.
